Jennifer moved to Brevard County upon her graduation from Stetson University College of Law. She began working as a prosecutor at the Office of the State Attorney in 1996. Her first assignment was as a trial attorney in the Misdemeanor division, where she handled all types of cases, including Domestic Violence and DUI cases. She moved up the ranks through various Felony divisions where she honed her trial skills and handled more complex, difficult criminal cases.
Through various promotions, she worked in the Felony Intake unit, the Sex Crimes / Child Abuse unit, and the Gun Crimes unit. She ultimately became a Felony Division Chief where she handled Homicide prosecutions and was responsible for supervising junior attorneys. She has worked closely with local agencies including the various police departments, advocacy groups, and the Department of Children and Families. She now used that knowledge and experience to represent clients as they navigate through Family Court, Dependency Court, Criminal Court, and Federal Court systems.
